West Lake ~ Hangzhou, China
A young looking, round faced, petite girl of 15 years walks slowly down the old, wet cobblestone path to a large wood-carved door set in a moss-covered stone wall. Above the door she sees the words “WU SHU.” She wonders
….. “What is Wushu?” Not comfortable with fighting and wanting to leave, the officials asked her to train for one month.
As she moves through the doorway with intention, the chaos of the cultural upheaval fades away.
She then steps with grace and strength into the world of Wushu and the Touchstones in her life.
